KEYBOARD CONTROLS

Use left and right keys to aim. Press and hold Select to pull back cue and set power. Release to shoot.

Another way to aim is to use Up and Down to sequence through the balls.

To apply spin to the cue ball press left, right, up, or down while drawing back the cue. Down can also cause a jump.

0 Menu - brings up menu during game.

In + 1, Out - 7 - zoom in and out

Raise 3 u, Lower - 9 d.

* - ball in hand. The cue ball blinks and direction keys move it. Press select when done.

TOUCHSCREEN CONTROLS 

Drag the cue left and right to aim. Pull back to set power. Release to shoot.

You can also point at a location on the table to aim.

Point off the table and drag to change camera view.

Press the eject icon at lower left to display the Game Menu for more control.

GAME MENU

Left, Right - aim the cue stick.

Shoot - hold down to draw back cue and shoot. The longer you hold down the more powerful the shot.

Up - switch to break view. If already in break view then aim at next higher numbered ball.

Down - switch to cue aligned aiming view. If cue is already aligned then aim at next lower numbered ball.

In, Out - zoom in and out.

Raise, Lower - tilt camera up and down.

MAIN MENU

New Game - start a new game.

Resume - resume game from last position.

Sound - turn sound on or off.

NEW GAME MENU

Straight Pool - hit balls into pockets, one point per ball. If you sink a ball you get to shoot again. If you sink the cue ball then no points are awarded and your turn is over. First player to sink 8 or more balls wins.

8 Ball - player is assigned stripes or solids based on first ball sunk after the break. The score on the left shows your type, stripes or solids, and the number of balls of that type that have been sunk. Sink all balls of your type and then the 8 ball last to win the game.

Practice - single player practice mode. Ball in hand is allowed.

Opponent - choose opponent with Opponent Menu.

Back - return to main menu.

OPPONENT MENU

Opponents increase in difficulty according to the dollar value.

Visible - turn off if you do not want to show opponent's face during the game.

TIPS

At the start of your turn the cue is pointed in the general direction of a good shot. Aim the cue left and right to improve the shot. Pull back cue to set power and release to shoot. 

If the cue ball is sunk a scratch occurs. Play passes to the next player. The cue ball is placed at the near end of the table.

Ball in hand is permitted on the break or after a scratch. The cue ball blinks and it can be moved to a new position. In Practice mode you can take ball in hand at any time, and move the cue ball anywhere on the table.
